Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the III international scientific conference
"Society, State and Church in the spectrum of interdisciplinary research"
11-13 October, 2019

Location – Khmelnytsky National University
(Ukraine, Khmelnytsky, Instytutska str., 11)
 

Approximate directions of the conference are:
- Ideological and confessional transformations through the prism of modern socio-humanitarian discourse;

- Metamorphoses of modern religiosity: Ukrainian and global context;

- Social modernization in the context of cultural changes and education priorities;
- Value orientations of the personality and the problem of his identity influenced by global transformations;

- The models of interaction between society, the state and the Church in modern world;

- Modern society in the dynamics of political, religious and cultural processes;

- Political process in Ukraine: permanent electoral syndrome.

 

Conference languages: Ukrainian, English, Russian.

 

Deadlines:

September 27, 2019 – application for participation in the conference and abstracts

(please, send to e-mail: khnu@online.ua).

The application form is attached.

Application and abstracts should be sent in separate files.

September 30, 2019 – payment for participation in the conference.

Participants should pay via international money transfer systems (MoneyGram, Western Union) or via bank SWIFT-payment in Euros, US dollars or Polish zloty (PLN). Details will be sent to participants by e-mail.

 

The fee for participation in the conference for 3 days is:

• full participation – 30 Euros (includes printed conference program, certificate of participation, conference materials package, coffee breaks, lunches and dinners, excursion program in Khmelnytsky, cultural activities (theater performance or music concert, visit to the museum),

participation in the two-day Forum of New Religions of Ukraine.

• absentee participation – 15 Euros (includes printed conference program and conference materials package).

 

Please, note that the fee doesn't include the cost of transit and accommodation. The Organizing Committee can help you to book hotel in Khmelnytsky. Information about possible variants of accommodation will be sent by e-mail.

 

Also you have an opportunity to publish article in the scientific journal.

Publication fee is 1 euro per A4 page of text & the cost of post delivery.

Deadline for the article is October 13, 2019.

 

Requirements for abstracts

Abstracts are accepted for publication in any language with an obligatory short summary in English (maximum three sentences).

Abstracts – no more than 3 pages of A4 format text according to requirements, including annotation.

Margins: top, bottom, right and left – 2 cm.

Font – Times New Roman, size – 14; interval – 1.5 lines.

 

Requirements for articles will be sent to participants after receipt of the application form.

 

Please, note that publication of conference materials (abstracts) is planned till the conference.

The publication of the scientific journal is planned during two months after the conference.

FORUM OF NEW RELIGIONS OF UKRAINE

09:30 – registration of participants of the Forum and welcome coffee

10:30 – opening of the Forum

11:30 – sightseeing tour of Khmelnytsky

13:30 – lunch

14:30 – presentations of new religious movements (basics of doctrine and practice, history of formation, etc.)

17:30 – discussion on the results of the first day of the Forum

18:15 – dinner

19:00 – cultural activities (attendance of a theater performance / music concert)

 

October 13

10:00 – welcome coffee

10:30 – workshops, presentations, cases of new religious movements

13:30 – lunch

14:00 – cultural activities (visit to the museum)

15.30 – barcamp / discussion platform

17:30 – results of the Forum, networking, plans for the future
